My Birthday Week

I would like to take this time and write about my special week. I am very thankful for everyone in my life. I had a wonderful 4-day weekend since my birthday always fall around Thanksgiving. Mario & I agreed to stay in town and just go on mini trips to relax and enjoy our time off.

On 11/24 Mario gave me my birthday present and I loved it!!!

We went up to see Pechanga on 11/26. The hotel / casino was very nice and classy but we really didn't care much for it. We were supposed to have their Thanksgiving Buffet but when we looked at the menu, didn't have seafood items on it so we went for the Asian Cuisine at the Food Court.

Comes 11/27 - we went to see the movie 2012, thanks to my co-workers who got me a $25 gift card! It was about 3 hours long. After, we tried this BBQ place we've been eyeing at - Smokin Sam's BBQ. It was pretty good and we see ourselves coming back :) Grabbed quick Starbucks coffees on the way home and rented Transformers 2 and Year One.

It was raining so bad on 11/28 but still went up to check out Barona Ranch (Mario wanted to surprise me by saying that we were going horseback riding - yeah right~). Man, it was very expensive up there! That's why after 2 hours we decided to come home :P We went straight to Filippi's for dinner and honestly, I do not wish to go back there again! Food was good but service sucked big time!!! Oh well, I do not want to stress on it... We got my Tres Leches cake afterwards and headed home.

11/29 we stayed home, watched the Chargers game and left until it was time to do the laundry - yes, vacation is over :( We did go to Miguel's Cocina for dinner since I was craving good Mexican food. I was impressed and loved every bite :)
