Michael Jackson

I am not an avid fan but I am very saddened with the passing of a great pop icon, Michael Jackson. I was on my home from work when I heard over the radio that MJ was rushed to the hospital and he had a heart attack or something. At 330pm, they announced that he passed away at 315pm. I was so shocked and could not believe what I was hearing. Somehow part of me did not want to take it in. Up to this day, I could still not believe he is gone.

Watching his memorial service made me even more sad. People should have appreciated him when he was still alive. They said a lot of things about him, good and not so good but I personally think he was a great man. He could have done more.. Oh well, that is just how life is.

Lesson learned, appreciate the people around you for you never know when they will be taken away.. We will surely miss you Michael Joseph Jackson.
