Legally it's mama's birthday so we had a reason to go to a much awaited out of town trip. I think we have scheduled, planned and made arrangements as early as January of this year. And here we are now...
Day 1 - May 28, 2009, Thursday
- 1pm departure from Fresno
- 5pm arrival at Gaia Napa Valley Hotel & Spa
- a little bit of shopping at Seafood City
- dinner at Max's Vallejo, Peach Mango Pies to go from Jollibee
Day 2 - May 29, 2009, Friday
- 9am breakfast at Gaia Restaurant
- 11am Beau Limo pick up at the hotel lobby - Chauffer / Tour Guide BILL
- 1st stop - Mario Andretti Winery ($12 per person wine tasting only, $16 if you keep the glass)
- 12pm in depth tour of vineyard and wine making and tasting at Robert Mondavi Winery (scheduled and paid in advance - $25 per person)
- 2pm at Rutherford Hill, bought Chardonnay bottle enjoyed during picnic lunch overlooking Napa Valley. Boxed lunches were provided by The Girl & The Fig Resto ($28 per person paid thru Beau Limo package)
- 3pm at Bremer Family Owned Winery (by appointment only). Bought Claret bottle for $70! Wow!
- 330pm at Frank Family Vineyards - last stop and all "wined out".
- 530pm back to hotel
- 630pm dinner at La Strada Italian Resto
Day 3 - May 30, 2009, Saturday
- 10am picked up tickets at will call window at Train Station
- 11am boarding and departure
- 4-course meal served the entire trip
- 230pm end of trip
- 3pm presentation at RiverPointe Resort
- 7pm when we left resort with lots of goodies :)
- quick stop at Walmart Supercenter
- dinner at Jollibee
Day 4 - May 31, 2009, Sunday
- 11am hotel check out
- lunch at Golden City Buffet
- 230pm San Jose to visit my Ninang
- merienda at Goldilocks
- dinner at In n Out, Jensen
- got home at 1130pm
